Chapter History

Eta Pi Omega Chapter became the 182nd chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority , Incorporated on November 24, 1961, under the direction of South Central Regional Director Odalie McDonald. An impressive chartering ceremony was held at Chapel Four, Fort Bliss, Texas. 

 

The charter members are: Cleopatra Banks, Elora Brotherton, Catherine Caro, Dorothy Davis,Virginia Dews, Gladys Fielder, Charlesetta Finley, Kay Gibson, Ruby Lassiter, Emma Loud, Jewel Manning, Barbara Penn, Felicia Pittard, Viola Moody Strait, Claudia Thomas and Claudia Wright.
